SOMEWHAT DAMAGED #4 featuring The St. Pierre Snake Invasion + Black Sixteen + Death Koolaid + Black Type Reputations ***FREE ENTRY***
SOMEWHAT DAMAGED: A night of LOUD alternative noise from the underground curated by Black Sixteen.
After three successful events with a packed out venue and an amazing party atmosphere in 2014, we're back at The Unicorn in Camden Town on Saturday the 11th of April for the first Somewhat Damaged event of 2015...
Featuring sets from:
The St. Pierre Snake Invasion (Onstage 10.15pm - 10.45pm):
Fresh from being featured on BBC Introducing in their hometown Bristol, TSPSI are hotly tipped as a band to watch out for in 2015 and have recently been booked at several UK festivals. Their witty and satirical lyrics mixed with passionate and often frenzied vocals mixed with machine-like guitars, bass and drums serves only to construct a mass of sound, energy and drive. The mix of Refused meets The Bronx meets Mclusky has made St. Pierre gigs a ‘see it to believe it’ experience.

Black Sixteen (Onstage 9.30pm - 10.00pm):
Your hosts for the night are a London based Dark Grunge rock band. The band was formed by songwriter Amir Khan and drummer Matt Burn, who initially performed around London as a four piece including keyboards before stripping the unit down for a condensed, dynamic and emotionally charged sound, a bitter tongued pill that burns on the way down. Destroy something beautiful today.

Death Koolaid (Onstage 8.45pm - 9.15pm):
Death Koolaid were dug up from the dark depths of society, each member was found through their blood thirsty passion to make hard hitting music. The four-piece female fronted hardcore-punk-rock band stun audiences with their aggressive live shows packed full of action, entertainment and music that will make your ears bleed.

Black Type Reputations (Onstage 8pm - 8.30pm):
A brand new venture from ex-members of funk-grunge outfit ‘The Bovine Wives’, these Welsh-born Londoners sound like Nirvana jamming with The Rolling Stones with hints of The Groundhogs and The Jesus Lizard mixed in for good measure. Wasted rock ’n’ roll with a slippery dark narcotic edge.
PLUS we’ll have special guest DJ sets by legendary local electro-punk rockers Phil Roadkill and Ben Main from Stereo Juggernaut throughout the night. Whenever the live bands aren’t playing, these boys will bring the noise!
