FREE XMAS CHARITY PARTY: Somewhat Damaged #3
SOMEWHAT DAMAGED: A new night of LOUD alternative noise from the underground.
After two successful events with a packed out venue and an amazing party atmosphere, we're back at The Unicorn in Camden Town on Saturday the 20th of December... and this time we're pulling together for a good cause.
ALL funds we make on the night will go toward helping the homeless during these cold winter months via the registered charity CRISIS (http://www.crisis.org.uk/). This includes 15% of the bar takings as well as any donations collected during the evening from you lovely people!
So come and have merry (or miserable) cheap holiday drinks with some of London's rawest alternative bands providing the soundtrack on a night with bite!
Featuring sets from:
Tacoma Narrows Bridge Disaster (Onstage 10.15pm - 10.45pm):
Tacoma Narrows Bridge Disaster hail from London, the meeting of five minds who share a love for atmospheric art-metal. Bringing together elements of post rock and progressive metal, as well as diverse influences from glitch to stoner rock, they generate a unique and mesmerizing sound. Moments of reflective serenity and complex spiralling soundscapes mix with massive riffs and crushing climaxes to take audiences on a journey.

Black Sixteen (Onstage 9.30pm - 10.00pm):
Black Sixteen are a London based Dark Grunge rock band. The band was formed by songwriter Amir Khan and drummer Matt Burn, who initially performed around London as a four piece including keyboards before stripping the unit down for a condensed, dynamic and emotionally charged sound, a bitter tongued pill that burns on the way down. Destroy something beautiful today.

Hollowdrone (Onstage 8.45pm - 9.15pm):
Hollowdrone is a three piece alternative rock band from the south coast of the UK who formed in the summer of 2013. They have since often grabbed their audiences attention, with their energetic and nutty performances. They thrive to deliver high-energy, eye-catching performances wherever they play with as much enthusiasm and attitude as you'd expect from an alternative rock band.

Spider Redundant (Onstage 8pm - 8.30pm):
Spider Redundant’s diverse range of influences means they are just as likely to produce a slow melodic catchy chorus as they are a brutal and crushing breakdown. This prevents most from labelling them a particular genre of rock music and you will find elements of metal, grunge, punk and hardcore mixed in with more traditional sounds.

PLUS we're proud to announce that we're welcoming special guest DJ Michael Angelo to this Somewhat Damaged event! His DJ's sets at both Voodoo Rock London and Project Mayhem Rock Night are legendary amongst the London rock scene and we can't wait to hear what he has to offer between and after the bands on the night!
