167Live is back at The Drury Club and for October there’s a fresh new line-up to get very excited about!

This month’s headline act is the vibrant and hugely talented Johnny Lucas, launching his latest single, “The Best Days”. Having played at festivals across the UK throughout the summer, including Glastonbury, Johnny has enjoyed radio airplay on both Radio 1 and 2 with this track, which speaks volumes about its life-affirming, energetic appeal. Johnny is a singer-songwriter who also happens to be a monster guitarist. His set wows audiences as he plays two guitars and creates his own backing track through beatboxing and playback on multiple loop pedals. Genius!

Currently being featured as Caffè Nero’s “Artist of The Month”, word is spreading fast about Johnny’s phenomenal sound. Some legends of the music industry are convinced, including, Jimmy Page, who said, “I loved what Johnny did with the loop pedal. Watching him perform was like an incredible 5D experience” and 6 Music’s Tom Robinson, who loves the single, praising its, “An almighty earworm of a chorus”.

Also featuring at 167Live this month are the delightful Tom Butler, winner of the PRS Songwriting Prize for the Gigs 2014 Busking Competition, who always draws the audience into his every performance, the electric and abundantly talented Greasy Slicks, who have also received acclaim from 6 Music’s Tom Robinson, and the magnetic The Landed, who have enjoyed airplay on Radio 1 and 6 Music and have built a loyal following. The 167Live crowd is in for a treat.
