Here's the first of our one-off nights at the Canterbury Arms. I thought we'd start off gently, with something that feels familiar, even if it has a brand new name.

September's Not So Far Away - A C86 Disco

A night of jangle pop and noise pop, of Sarah Records and Creation, of old favourites and lost classics, of Subway and 53rd And 3rd, of daydreams and dusty vinyl.

As with the C86 Specials, we'll be stretching the time period slightly to include songs from 81 to the early 90s. So expect the Monochrome Set and The Pastels right up to Boyracer and the Motorcycle Boy.
