GALAXIANS are Jed Skinner (synths // programming) and Matt Woodward (drum kit // programming). The pair met in Leeds and played their first show as Galaxians in 2012.

The band have two US releases scheduled for early 2014 on Dither Down (NYC) and Rotating Souls (Atlanta), plus a split release with Bodybeat forthcoming on Leeds' dance label Stargaze in February.

With a string of memorable festival appearances and shows in 2013 with the likes of Tom Tom Club, Golden Teacher, Zombie Zombie, Ultramagnetic MCs and Ital, Galaxians have established themselves as a joyous, highly-charged spectacle.

BODYBEAT is a live dance act from Lille, France, that draws its inspiration from 80's House and Funk to produce futuristic disco music.

We all know how good the French are at making electronic dance music and Bodybeat are no exception. Just listen to the irresistable bass hook and effortless delivery in 'Sextape' , soon to be released on Stargaze (alongside Galaxians' 'Electroads') on the second of the label's split 12" vinyl releases.

Their first EP will be unveiled in February 2014 on Alpage Records.
