Just a quick reminder it's HDIF at the Canterbury Arms in Brixton this Friday. We still don't know how long we have before the pub is closed down, so we're just carrying on as usual. The decision over planning permission is expected sometime next month. But we'd thought we'd get our goodbyes in while we still can, and as a way of saying farewell to the Canterbury Arms, we've decided to do a special based on the album that was conceived there - "The Kids At The Club". We'll be playing every song from the album over the course of the night. Featuring songs by...Voxtrot! I'm From Barcelona! Irene! Saturday Looks Good To Me! Fanfarlo! Butcher Boy! Suburban Kids With Biblical Names! Lucky Soul! Pocketbooks! To mention just a few. Plus our guest DJs are Liz from The School and Tim from Belfast's Daytrip club night, who'll be playing indiepop, 60s girl groups and more.
