THE UNDERSTUDIES
The Understudies reputation as an enthralling electric live band continues to grow with every shake of singer Brian's quiff. Fragile and robust in equal measures in the grand tradition of British guitar bands like The Smiths they stand out as unique in London’s indiepop music scene. Their single “Everyone Deserves At Least One Summer of Love” is available from Odd Box Records while they put the finishing touches to the debut album at Soup Studios.
“They make the kind of dreamy indiepop that Felt peddled in their prime, tinged with a caustic wit last seen dribbling from Luke Haines' mouth." Last.fm

COSINES
Cosines are a mathematical pop band from north London featuring DIY enthusiasts Simon Nelson and Alice Hubley. They fuse metronomic pop sensibilities, 60?s grooves and krautrock noise. What you maybe would get if you mix Love, United States of America and Stereolab. As a band they are constantly trying to find the perfect meeting point between clean synths and fuzz guitars. The band’s line up was completed by Alice’s old Loves bandmates Daniel Chapman and Jonny Drums and A Smile and A Ribbon’s Kajsa Tretow. They are currently working on a debut album for Fika Recordings.

THE FIREWORKS
The band began in secret in 2011 when Matthew would sing some of his songs over the phone lines to his friends. Over time they convinced him to start a real group so everyone could hear them. Close friends Emma (Pocketbooks), Isabel (Things In Herds), and Carys (The Give It Ups) - since replaced by new drummer Shaun (ex-Wedding Present / Popguns) - were finally drafted in and The Fireworks began in a burst of noise, snap, crackle and P!O!P! They immediately started playing gigs -- Indietracks, Indiepop Days Berlin and the Nottingham Indiepop Alldayer, and recorded a session for Dandelion Radio. Their recent EP was released on Shelf Life.

LISTENING PARTY
Rising out of the ashes of ex-Jeepster signings SixNationState, Listening Party play uptempo indie with strong melodies and a hint of Britpop.
