A quick reminder that HDIF returns to the Canterbury Arms in Brixton this Friday. Hurrah hurrah hurrah! We've been on holiday, we've DJ-ed at Indietracks and End Of The Road, we've squeezed as much summer out of the summer as possible, and now we're back to the glorious function room of the Canterbury Arms for some indiepop and northern soul dancing. I cannot wait. Our guest DJs are Sarah and Astrid from The Actionettes who are superb DJs, Sarah looking after the indiepop/riot grrl side of things and Astrid taking care of the 60s and soul half of the bargain.

Guest DJs: Lang & Lopez. The Actionettes' Sarah and Astrid return to HDIF for another floor-filling set of indie pop and northern soul. Ms Lang looks after the indie pop side of proceedings - she certainly knows her stuff when it comes to Talulah Gosh, Mambo Taxi, riot grrl and the like - while Ms Lopez handles the soul and sixties side of things. Plus it's our return to the Canterbury Arms after our summer break. We can't wait!
