PART 2 of Ragged Nights at TEMPLE WORKS LEEDS.
Ragged Nights - A series of nights of punk and punk influenced bands to support the "Ragged Kingdom" exhibition of the pioneering and world-renowned punk artist Jamie Reid. Jamie's artwork, including his famous Sex Pistols alum covers can be seen at Temple Works Leeds from June 14th - July 14th.
Part 2 of the Ragged Nights series features:
CRUSADES
Hotly tipped post-hardcore band from Glasgow. Face shredding riffs, melodic and heavy, no cheesy "brutal" breakdowns, just straight up hardcore sickness. Already airplayed on BBC Radio 1 and billed to play T In The Park and Soundcity Fest, this will be your chance to see Crusades tear it up in Leeds for the first time.
HEROIN DIET
For fans of Reagan Youth, The Adolescents and The Germs. "... a punk band from Manchester, fast 2 minute blasts with reverb vocals, very much in the vein as the recent new wave of punk upstarts like those Danish brats, Iceage. " - Bad Fotography http://www.bad-fotography.co.uk/2012/04/heroin-diet.html
BEARS KILLING BEARS
Thrash punks kicking out loud, fast and dirty jams in the vein of Motorhead and Black Sabbath. Big riffs, denim and leather.
Watch them f*** shit up here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IwmiAD1W4dU&feature=youtu.be
ENDLESS ROPE
3 piece punk troupe playing urgent, dark punk jams. Made up of people who've been involved with Twisted, Facel Vega, State Run, Etai Keshiki, Waste Of Rations etc. Influenced by stuff like Wipers, Adolescents, Joy Division, The Smiths, Gray Matter, Husker Du and Rites of Spring/Moss Icon style passionate moaning and groaning.
