Oakland, Ca. Rapper Mac Reem Releases Debut Single, "We're Gonna Zoom"
Bay Area rapper Mac Reem announces the release of his debut single, "We're Gonna Zoom", now available on iTunes.
Produced by LA's own Duane 'Da Rock' Ramos (LL Cool J, Mary J.Blige, Jadakiss) "We're Gonna Zoom" is a catchy club-banger with heavy base breaks and a bouncy infectious hook. Lined with signature take-no-prisoners type references, often inherent in many successful artists from Oakland, We're Gonna Zoom" is a track that all hip hop fans can relate to.
"My music is influenced by Oakland legends like, E-40, Tupac and TooShort. I respect their hustle and how these guys held down the bay. I have the same type of hustle and one day, I hope I can make the same type of impression," says Mac Reem.
Early last year, Mac Reem enjoyed local success with the release single sampler entitled, "Quit Lying in Your Raps" produced by J. Glaze (Young Money, Kurupt, Q-Tip, Method Man, Inspectah Deck, Kokane, Gift of Gab, DJ Greenlantern) which features a guest appearance by Roscoe & Kurupt from the Dogg Pound. After being featured on the Bay Area's premier station, KMEL-FM, the single received record-breaking numbers among listener requests.
Named Artist of the Month earlier this year by top indie promo site, Register My Music, and with his music featured on several of the X-Family mix tapes, along with Scarface, Eddie Projex and Tony Montana, Mac Reem has gained notable traction and street credibility.
With these accomplishments and the growing buzz from his debut single, Mac Reem is proving to be the next hip hop artist to keep Oakland on the map. For more information on Mac Reem please visit http://macreemmusic.com.
