We want to make sure Pin Ups Hogmanay Ball 4, our fourth and definitely FINAL Hogmanay party, is even more fun than our completely sold-out Hogmanay Balls of 2008, 2009 and 2010! We've lined up special guests, a couple of top notch live acts, plenty of shortbread, black buns, ehm..... lumps of coal and all the usual Pin Ups hilarity and nonsense across two rooms till 4am! BOOM! (as they say). There's always plenty of choice at Hogmanay but we hope you'll choose to join us for all of these shenanigans:

First up, we're all a wee bit excited to announce that after 3 years of Aidan Moffat masks at Hogmanay and pretending to be Aidan at the bells (Its all true, check this footage: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-dZ-U3H5eG8 ), we are absolutely delighted to announce that Mr Aidan Moffat himself will indeed be in attendance as our Tall, Dark and Handsome Guest DJ to bring in the new year!

As well as Aidan, all of the Twilight Sad chaps will be in attendance and will be DJing at various points throughout the night. As part of this action, James and Doc have promised to unleash their 'Digital Winch' Guilty Pleasures onto the main room later on too!

As well as the special guests, the Pin Ups Djs will also be getting in amongst things throughout the night playing the usual mix of nonsense and your favourite Pin Ups tunes - expect to hear lots of new and classic indie, punk, soul, electropop (and whatever the hell we fancy!) we might even sneak a wee best of 2011 into the kitchen too.

Playing live we have one of our favourite bands, post-punk outfit For Abel (http://soundcloud.com/forabel ), whom we interviewed last month (http://www.pinupnights.co.uk/fanzine/interview-with-rob-armstrong-for-abel/ ) and have played one or two of our more memorable nights over the years. As well as For Abel, the fabulous soulful electronic artist Patricia Panther (http://soundcloud.com/patricia-panther ) will also be in amongst the live action before midnight.

We're really pleased and proud that the last 3 Pin Ups Hogmanay Balls have sold out - they take a lot of effort to pull together but once again we'll be doing everything we can to add the usual Pin Ups touches to the night to make sure this year Pin Ups is the place to be again!

You'll have spotted some crazy prices flying around for different nights at Hogmanay. Undeniably costs are higher at Hogmanay for club nights to cover stuff like increased hire fees, staff and acts etc but we don't want to be fleecing anyone so you won't be getting charged any stupid prices. As usual we've tried to keep prices as low as possible and are offering a limited number of £10 Early Bird tickets that are available just now. If we have any tickets left on the night they will be £14 on the door (though we only had a handful left last year and they were gone by 10pm so better to buy in advance!
