Just a very quick note to say that The Actionettes will be dancing and DJ-ing at HDIF in Brixton on Friday. If you haven't seen The Actionettes - London's premiere all-girl sixties dance troupe - shake their stuff at The Canterbury Arms before, then you're in for a real treat. They'll be DJ-ing from 10.30pm, and dancing at 11.30pm, with yours truly back on the decks again at midnight.

Indie song of the week: "Shelia Take A Bow" by The Smiths. I heard this played on the radio over the weekend as a tribute to the magnificent Shelagh Delaney, and it sounded wonderful.
