We're very pleased to say that we'll be welcoming the Fortuna POP! All-Star DJ Tag Team as our guests at HDIF in Brixton this Friday. As I'm sure you know, esteemed indiepop label Fortuna POP! is having its 15th birthday celebrations this week with three gigs at the Scala featuring the likes of The Primitives, Crystal Stilts, Comet Gain, Shrag, Allo Darlin', Darren Hayman, Tender Trap and more, and on Friday we're hosting the official after party at the Canterbury Arms. DJ-ing for us will be the Fortuna POP! All-Star DJ Tag Team, which will consist of members of many of the bands that will have performed at the Scala playing a couple of records each in a no doubt uncordinated, ill-advised and alcohol-fuelled frenzy. Should be fun! Confirmed for the tag team so far are members of Allo Darlin', Comet Gain, The Aislers Set (Linton!...no really, I've seen the email...*faints*), Shrag, Cinema Red And Blue and Evans The Death. With more to be confirmed. We imagine. Yay!
