Aerials Up, Young Aviators + Support, Glasgow QMU, 3/11/11
So, I don't do this often, but COME TO THIS IF YOU'RE IN GLASGOW EVERYONE! It's my first attempt at putting on a gig, and it's all rather exciting. Blurb below:
'For Pete's Sake!' is a new live music initiative, taking place at the QMU's Jim's Bar, featuring the best talent from around Scotland and occasional guests from further afield.
Shows will be happening monthly, and we're excited to have on board for our launch night three brilliant Glaswegian bands:
Well known on the festival circuit, Aerials Up are a seven-piece playing uplifting indie-pop. If you like strings, you’ll like these guys. Their debut EP, Superglue, was released earlier this year. We're delighted that they'll be filling [almost literally] the Jim's Bar stage for FPS #1.

Young Aviators have been gigging hard recently, and just came off tour with The Subways. They play new-wave-surf, and if you're not sure what that is you'll just have to find out at the show or have a swatch at their facey page.

Kevin Harper is the driving artistic force of Little Eskimos, an indie-rock band playing "songs about doomed relationships and things of that nature".

There'll be more details as we approach the event, but for now please check out both bands online and visit our page/website to find out a bit more about us.
