STILL CORNERS:
Sub Pop’s latest signings launch their new 7” 'Cuckoo'.
Still Corners create haunting pop music, full of wintry melody, lush Nico-like vocals, and swirling organ and guitar.
The group are inspired by films and music from the 60’s as well as contemporary groups Cocteau Twins, Broadcast and Beach House.
“Mixing 60's production with dream-pop shimmer, are these wafty British etherealists heralding a new golden age of indie?” (The Guardian)

THE PROPER ORNAMENTS:
The Proper Ornaments are Max Claps and James Hoare. Together they make bittersweet guitar-pop reminiscent of Velvet Underground, Comet Gain or some lost sixties West Coast harmony band.
They released their first single in 2010 through Make a Mess Records, the illustrious home of Nodzzz, Grass Widow, Brilliant Colors and White Fence

AMOR DE DIAS:
Tropicália-tinged, chamber-pop duo featuring Alasdair MacLean (The Clientele) and Lupe Núñez-Fernández (Pipas). Think Gal Costa and Caetano Veloso’s elegant brand of bossa nova; a little of Erik Satie’s haunting night music, and a large dose of spooky psychedelic folk.
Their debut album “Street of the Love of Days” is available now on Merge Records.
