The Old Blue Last
39 Gt. Eastern St
EC2A

Goodiepal is a Faroe/Danish composer with a taste for the peculiar. His act includes anything from music boxes to planetary chess games. He's recorded for V/Vm, Chicks on Speed and Ski-pp and scored several commercials for global brands such as Carlsberg and Lego, not to mention Nokia's infamous Matrix trailers. He looks weird, he is weird and it would be his pleasure to have you all present for what is sure to be a very strange little show, a show incidentally that was the highlight of Sonar 05.
The Doubtful Guest is Seed Records' mistress of mash up mayhem. A classically trained Chicago chanteuse, she's as loveable as she is erratic. A true creator of beautifully textured rhythms and bastard hard beats, she recently played a blinding live set at Norway's Numusic festival which saw Detroit legend Carl Craig commenting, 'f*cking crazy.' This lady's compositions will blow your feet from your legs and rewire your cerebral for the common good of mankind and the rest of your finite life on earth. Get ready to Cha Cha.
Le Couteau Jaune are the mysterious art/sonic ensemble that incorporate everything from black humour and horror to sci-fi, l'amour and reflection into their stage stealing performances which in turn may consist of either a full live band, a carefully crafted mix of sound FX, synthesis and spoken work or anything in the delicious quagmire between. At times dark and depraved, yet always alluring humane, this merry band of misfits are sure to entertain. Tonight, catch them airing some new material before they venture off to tour Holland with Classic English Womb's, Jazzfinger.
