In May Don’t Be Afraid Recordings will reach it’s 4th and 5th releases, the fourth from [url=http://soundcloud.com/semtek/sets/dba004-semtek-west-acyd/]Semtek[/url] and the first full release on the label from [url=http://soundcloud.com/mrbeatnick/synthetes-ripped-off-bbc-radio]Mr. Beatnick[/url]. To celebrate, the label will be taking over [url=http://www.residentadvisor.net/club-detail.aspx?id=9905]Visions Video Bar[/url] on Friday May 27th for their first label party. Both of the remixers from the respective releases, the Portuguese duo [url=http://soundcloud.com/photonz]Photonz[/url], and the London-based artist [url=http://soundcloud.com/architeq]Architeq[/url], have kindly agreed to make appearances, as well as some local friends of the label from [url=http://onehandedmusic.com/]One-Handed Music[/url], [url=http://onehandedmusic.com/artist/paul-white/]Paul White[/url], [url=http://onehandedmusic.com/artist/bullion/]Bullion[/url] and Alex Chase.

DBA004 is currently receiving support from 2562, Ivan Smagghe, Neville Watson, Baby G, Subeena, Geoffroy aka Mugwump, Brackles and Disco Bloodbath amongst others. DBA005 was recently premiered on Gilles Peterson’s Worldwide show and is receiving support from King Britt, Braiden and Snuff Crew amongst others.
