SECRET SUPER SPECIAL GUESTS
We can't tell you who this act is, or much about them, because we'll be sent to the tower by their agent or something. They're not supposed to be doing small club shows anymore. We can tell you that they are genuinely exciting and live, they are a visual and aural assualt on the senses. You will be entertained, oh yes, you will be entertained... GET IN!

CHARLI XCX
Last time popstar-in-the making Charli XCX played for us she wasn't even old enough to drink, let alone get in the venue. Now 18 years old, the Hertfordshire native has ditched the electro nursery grime of her 'youth' for an altogether more classier affair. Citing inspiration from Kate Bush, James Bidgood and David LaChapelle, her new single 'Stay Away' is dark, emotive pop at its best. Co-written and produced by Ariel Rechtshaid (Glasser, Diplo), 'Stay Away' has had some stellar remix treatment, most notably by Salem who cut up the original with synths and drum claps to make a Fallen Angels lament. Lush!

ROWDY SUPERSTAR
London's own Rowdy Superstar describes his music as 'an electronic weirdbeat hip-pop-punk experiment'. Coolez! After uploading a collection of demos online, one of the tracks 'Tick Tock' , and its art house video brought much attention which led to collaborations with Patrick Wolf and Micachu. A flamboyant blend of Prince, Bowie and M.I.A, Rowdy is currently in the final stages of co producing his debut album with electronic pioneer Matthew Herbert (Bjork, Radiohead, Roisin Murphy), scheduled for release mid 2011. Werk it!

PLANT PLANTS
Plant Plants are a duo from Hackney who share a love of film scores, heavy beats and weird guitar tunings. Having recently finished recording their debut EP with Jas Shaw of Simian Mobile Disco (to be released this summer), their stand out blend of the electronic and eclectic is something you'll be hearing a lot more of if they keep playing their cards right. Awez!

FUNFUCKINTIMEZ!
Corsica Studios is amazers, has 2 stupid good rooms, a fucktion one sound system, a warehouse vibe and an extra cool smoking terrace/outside space. It's located a short walk from Elephant and Castle Tube station (Northern and Bakerloo Line) and Elephant and Castle overground train station. There are about a million buses/night buses that go to the Elephant from all over the shop too. We'd be here all year listing them so probs easier for you to check out this handy guide from the nearby LCC website:
