TIGERCATS

Tigercats are Duncan, Giles, Jonny, Laura and Stefan. Figuratively, they are made of Violent Femmes, Chic, Buzzcocks, Feelies, Hefner, Lonnie Donegan, and Life Without Buildings. Literally they are made of Esiotrot and Hexicon. They live in east London and make noisy music of open-hearted joy and sparkly-eyed adventure. If you like songs that start with intimate confession and end in furious vegetarianism, or studies of Konnie Huq's easily-forgotten role in the Beijing Olympics, you'll love Tigercats! Tigercats have two singles available through Haircut records.

This gig was supposed to be the single launch for their new single "Banned at the Troxy" - coming out on WeePop! records... but they didn't get it done in time. However, they have promissed to play it along with a raft of new material, so that should more than make up for it!

Nik
In theory Nik plays keyboard and sings. More often than not, he just sings. It's just too darn difficult to do both things at the same time. He does however, write the majority of the lyrics and occasionally also fiddles with backing bleepy bits in Garageband or Nanoloop.

Bill
Bill plays guitar and sings. He also writes lyrics occasionally and makes the majority of the drum programming. Bill also plays bass with Allo Darlin' and Darren Hayman & The Secondary Modern.
