This is my first time using the forums on Drowned in Sound. I'm a third year music business student at Birmingham, myself and my group are organising a 3 date midland based tour with everything included (apart from transport) for a final year project.

So, we are in need of at least 2 bands at this point, the criteria you need to meet is, be of the pop punk genre, have enough responsibility to attend 3 dates around towards the last week in April, the cities will most likely be Birmingham, Nottingham and Sheffield. If you know a band who would be up for this, throw us their name and we'll get hold on them.

Our aim is part of a wider analysis of the pop punk scene within the UK, to further push and grow the awareness of the continuously expanding genre. We know the industry and how it works, if you want the opportunity for some free gigs and a hell of a lot of promotion get in touch, we'd love to hear from you.
