THREE TRAPPED TIGERS

Three Trapped Tigers were once just an idea in the head of ex Emmy the Great pianist Tom Rogerson. Now, a fully fledged, one of a kind, live electronica band currently being hyped to high heaven. The reason for this? Not the usual reasons for this kind of hype, but the fact that it genuinely sounds like nothing else out there.

Arriving from a classical background, which still informs his work, and a jazz background, his conscious rejection of which also informs his work. Rogerson’s first foray into pop was listening to Aphex Twin and other Warp records artists, and Three Trapped Tigers was formed from a desire to emulate these artists in an entirely live format.

Having received glowing reviews from NME, Drowned In Sound and the BBC amongst others, the band will continue their summer on the road with Three Trapped Tigers for this debut album tour. Previous touring comrades of The Futureheads, Pulled Apart By Horses, Dananananaykroyd, Baddies as well as being the main support for the last Minus The Bear UK Tour.
