Just a very quick reminder that the next Great Big Kiss soul and sixties special is this Friday at the Buffalo Bar. If you haven't been to GBK before, we play the soul and sixties side of HDIF - so that's northern soul, Motown, Atlantic, Stax, girl groups and a bit of rock'n'roll. Our guest DJ on Friday is Debbie Smith of the legendary London soul club The Nitty Gritty, who's a brilliant, brilliant DJ. If you went to the Actionettes 10th birthday bash at the 100 Club last year, then Debbie was the compere - and as a musician she's played in Echobelly, Curve, Snowpony, The Nuns and loads more.
