WE ARE TRANSMISSION
http://liveandloud.com/band/we-are-trans-mission
Self described as an Alternative experimental rock’n’roll band, Trans-Mission who hail from London in the United Kingdom, feel they are genre less with influences felt from various sources including 1950’s rock’n’roll and Jazz, surf twang, 1960’s pop, avant garde and beat, 1970’s bohemian punk and hard rock to some 1980’s new wave, 1990’s Alternative buzz rock and some modern guitar acts. Also the influence of old cinema, burlesque clubs and back alley sleaze can be found in their style and sound. The latest release is their fourth album entitled “The Midnite Squeeze” which came out in early 2010 via their label “mad trap records”, in most good record stores across North America (where it peaked at 189 on Billboard and went Top 100 in some Californian charts). The album was also released independently in their hometown of London via independent record stores. They tour the east and west coasts of the U.S to a growing audience a couple of times a year and regularly play live shows in London. Formed in 2004 and after two self released albums in the UK they decided to start their own label “mad trap records” and were able to secure a deal with City Hall records in San Francisco for the North America region which has enabled them widespread distribution and radio airplay of their last two studio albums in the region. Closer to home they continue to increase their following in London and feel they best fit into an eclectic art based environment with plans to introduce their forthcoming fifth album in the new year by hosting gallery art based events in London and New York which will incorporate local art dealers, avant garde film and a live performance from the group. They like to dress in Trash and Vaudeville clothes bought on regular trips to New York and like to sit slightly askew from the current guitar band trends in London. They are about to begin the recording process for their fifth album with a planned release date of May 2011.
ONE UNIQUE SIGNAL

Born with insular post-rock aggression from the ashes of tremolo drone experiment Windomn Chikkarah, One Unique Signal have been carving and refining their particular brand of space-kraut post-drone noise-core since 2002.
Debut single 'Lowry' released in 2003 on Genepool Records was described as "pure gold" by Drowned in sound and found it's way onto an episode of MTV show 'Dirty Sanchez'. This was followed in 2005 by the album 'Tribe, Castle and Nation' also on Genepool which was hindered by the almost total colapse of the band following core members leaving just prior to release. Dusting themselves off and regrouping with new members the band quickly headed into the studio with former 'Gieger Counter' and 'Foe' guitarist Jason Carty at the contols to put together the 'Dismemberment EP'. Intended by the band as a free for download statement of intent it featured a revised sound with it's foundations firmly rooted in ear piercing wah and feedback. 'Dismemberment' went on to win single of the week on XFM and enjoyed repeated plays on BBC6 music.
2008 saw the band return to Genepool records for the release of 'Villans to a Man' which featured the 19 minute monster 'Villans'. Picked up by Julian Cope, the EP won Album of the month on his Head Heritage site.
In 2010 the band hooked up with Stephen Lawrie, founder member and vocalist of Indie noise legends 'The Telescopes' for a number of live dates across the UK. Later this year a vinyl release (Aftertaste - Live)documenting these shows will be put out by Genepool.
The band will be heading to the studio early 2011 and alongside extensive UK dates will also be touring Spain and France in the Summer.

Extract from Itch magazine, by Liz Stott...
The Bon Vivants are a newly formed band, compromising of friends who have plenty of experience in the industry, yet have only just had the stroke of genius to put their creative talents together. Led by Zachery Stephenson and Daniel Fell, they already have a vast collection of electrifying tracks. A real mix of instant indie hits such as ‘Oh No Way’ , the infectious ‘Lines’ and proof of beautiful song writing with ‘Champagne and Grenadine’.
