Post War Years
Currently residing in a Russian social club-cum-hairdressers in the depths of East London, Post War Years are hard at work creating their very own brand of 'ear candy'. Aided by a guitar-heavy set up (two guitarists turned up to the initial rehearsal and everyone was too embarrassed to send one of them home) Post War Years focus heavily on big beats and strong basslines, building on these essential foundations with live samples, soaring melodies and intricate synth lines.
Rarely do you see an article on the band that fails to mention their likeness to indie favourites Foals (this article being no different!) and indeed whilst they can accredit the rising popularity of this math-pop genre to the Mercury Prize nominees, Post War Years are certainly bringing something new to the table. Pushing the confines of the template and thickly layering their tracks with joyful and innovative blips, pads, sweeps, beeps and pretty much any other sounds that is made available to them.
"Dance music with its brain cells intact" - NME
"Perfect to the point of emotionally stimulating" - TLOBF

Evryone
Evryone are a three-piece experimental pop band whose songs stretch glossy, glamorous style over melodic piano and stomp their way through a wonderland of well-crafted popness. The lead vocals vacillate between spiky and impetuous and velvety soft and they confidently lead the songs through their myriad twists and well-executed turns. If you like your pop to bang and crash but blow you a kiss at the end of it all then pucker up because Evryone are the band for you.
