Faith, Hope and Charity - Wednesday 19 January
After the success of an event held at the 12 Bar Club in January 2010 in which we raised over £1,200 for two cancer charities, we will be running the event again on 19 January 2011 at the same venue.
Next year's event will run under the banner 'Faith, Hope and Charity' and all funds raised will be passed solely to Macmillan Cancer Support. Tickets will be available on the door and will priced at £6. Doors open from 7.00pm.
I am pleased to announce that the acts performing will be Amanda Ray [http://www.myspace.com/amandarayuk] a 12 Bar Club regular and The Anydays [http://www.myspace.com/theanydays] a great live act from Oxford described by NME as "Jaunty, fun-sized psych..ones to watch!!...". Joining them are Tinyfish [http://www.myspace.com/tinyfishmusic ] as recommended by Classic Rock Society [http://www.classicrocksociety.co.uk/]. The Band have had a very successful 2010 and have recently released their second album The Big Red Spark. Completing the lineup we have another excellent Band from Oxford, Beelzebozo [http://www.myspace.com/bozobozobozo].
The acts will be supported by two DJ sets from Stuart Belsham and his fine collection of vintage punks and from midnight Anouska from Exotica [http://www.myspace.com/weareexotica ] will be taking the evening into the early hours.
There will be collection buckets on the night and other donation options are:
1. By cheque to Macmillan Cancer Support. Please make the cheque payable to Macmillan Cancer Support and send it to:
