Put a spark back into your NYE!
For the few of you that don't already know, Vicarious Bliss (real name Andy Gardiner) is an electronic producer coming from Manchester. He describes himself as a tall red-haired bloke signed by an even taller blond bloke and PSG supporter, Busy P - driving force behind the Ed Banger Records empire. Indeed, Vicarious Bliss joined Ed Banger in 2003, after accidentally coming across Busy P in the streets of Soho in London, and released the Theme From... EP that same year.
Theme From Vicarious Bliss was re-released in 2005 on Brighton-based Skint records, with a new remix from Dave Clarke. He produced the French band I Love UFO's debut album Wish, released in 2006. That same year, he also made a rework of Sébastien Tellier's huge hit La Ritournelle. In 2007, he collaborated with Headbangirl (Nadege Winter, Pedro's wife) on a project "to make music that one can listen to whilst eating candy and doing silly dances"; it resulted in the release of an EP under the name Vicarious Bliss Pop Experience feat. Headbangirl, containing a rendition of Together in Electric Dreams, the 80s Oakey/Moroder track, and Everyone's Insane. He also collaborated with Ladytron on their 4th studio album, Velocifero, released in 2008.

The Young Punx are a gang of musical miscreants, combining various influences and collaborators to create the next level of mash-up culture music, both original and accessible.
Spokesman and glue of the group, Hal Ritson, describes The Young Punx sound as “Mashpop and Punkstep” - also the title of their second album out this year – a vibrant and eclectic journey through electronica, pop, punk, hip hop, drum and bass and much more, both celebrating and challenging the worlds of dance music and club culture.
The Young Punx music has been described as “like a great party where the music is f***king cool but it’s all about good times and fun”
Starting life as producers, remixers and DJs, The Young Punx have developed a reputation for pioneering new sounds and not being afraid to break the rules – one minute producing filthy electro, the next recording a twenty piece live brass section and then cutting and mashing it up in the studio. Fans have learnt to expect the unexpected from The Young Punx and their fresh approach and wit has won them a strong and loyal global following.
Headlines in mainstream media as diverse as The Sun, The Mirror, La Stampa and even the BBC’s Newsnight spear-headed a flurry of media interest and helped to raise the group’s profile ahead of their 2007 debut album ‘Your Music Is Killing Me’.
The Young Punx debut album further cemented their reputation as go-to men for innovative, boundary-crossing music, the videos clocking up millions of hits on YouTube and tracks providing the backing in TV shows ranging from Eastenders to The Bionic Woman.

With more than a decade at the forefront of dance music in both club land and on radio, currently heard from coast to coast in the UK on the Kiss network, Nikki Elise is one of the most respected and profiled DJ’s in the East of England.
Nikki’s club work started from the humble small town ‘gigs’ but shortly moved to residing in some of East Anglia’s biggest clubs and buzz bars. It was then time for stops in London and several stints at the clubbers winter oasis Mayrhofen, Austria, which holds the famous early snow bombing music event.
“The House of Elise” show was part of the hard dance landscape for years and stood as a beacon in specialist UK commercial radio breaking new talent and frequently guesting the likes of Tiesto, Armin Van Buuren, Carl Cox, David Guetta, Ferry Corsten, Deadmau5, Fedde Le Grand, Scratch Perverts, Anne Savage, Lisa Lashes, B.K. Aly & Fila, Andy Whitby, Mauro Picotto, SlipMatt, Kenny Ken, Hype, Ed Real, Lisa Pin-Up, Amber D, K90 – many of which have become good friends of Nikki’s. “The House of Elise” ran successfully for over five years before ending in late summer 2009. This freed up time for her current projects of producing music, radio shows and DJ’ing.
In 2007 Nikki hooked up with producer Gridbreaker, so far they have produced tracks together and ‘Forgiven’ with it’s big tech melody, a proper uplifting banging tune, got it’s official release on the label ‘Summit’ in 2009.
