Drones
http://www.myspace.com/dronesuk
"Formed by their love for all that is loud, fast and melodic, guitarist / vocalist Daly George, bassist James Kerr and drummer Mitchell Thomas have set out to annoy old residents and provide drunken hysteria; and play some music... maybe. Inspired by the likes of Anti-Flag, Rise Against and The Distillers, Drones are out to create in-your-face punkrock."
Forestears
http://www.myspace.com/forestears
Alternative, Indie for fans of Neil Young, Nick Drake, The La's
"A merger of North and South and a love of "good music" brought Forestears together mid-way through 2009. Writing was never a problem from the start with all of us having complimentary ideas and a passion for composing beforehand, luckily enough when our minds were put together the results were and still are far better than could have ever been expected.
With influences so broad across the five of us, we write what we write. We have pretty much equal input in all songs, and are lucky enough to have a lot of close friends who are talented musicians to help out live and when recording."

Fresh from the fantastic Live&Loud launch night (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KoPcpaqW4BQ) IAM:YOURHERO return to their home town to take on the Lectern.
"IAM:YOURHERO started their adventure under the name "The Rylics".
Forming in 2004 they went on to play hundreds of shows gaining a reputation on the underground circuit as one of the best live bands around.
After receiving coverage on radio stations up and down the country and online, getting rave reviews from magazines and building a fanbase from there hometown of Brighton the boys had an unexpected halt in their plans.
Now in 2010, a new name, new sound and new adventures are on the horizon. With the line-up complete all that's left to do now is to show the rest of the world what their about.
Check them out, spread the word.
IAM:YOURHERO
It's back."
