consummate artistry, good taste and obvious musical
chemistry... feels like the duo just struck up in the

Geoff Farina

Geoff Farina fronts Glorytellers, but is probably best known for the abstract lyrics and jazzy post-punk guitar style he developed over his twelve years with Karate, or as one-half of seminal early-90s duo The Secret Stars.
"Mellifluous jazz guitar, irresistible melodies, and heart-tuggingly understated vocals" - Time Out
Chris Brokaw

is one of the hardest working musicians in America and known throughout as a true gentleman. A great guitarist, blessed with a deep soulful songwriting skill and dry smokey voice.
He was a founding member of Codeine; the band that started the Slowcore scene in the late '80s, then he formed Come with Thalia Zedek, now drums in The New Year , plays guitar for Thurston Moore and Evan Dando and most recently in MARTHA'S VINEYARD FERRIES with Bob Weston (shellac). Chris Brokaw is a rare humble genius and one of the finest solo artists of our times.
"Ravaged but beautiful beyond belief, reflecting both the dark, blues-strung grief of Come, and the lean-lined, horizon-fixed heft of Codeine." - Time Out

Radio 6/Resonance FM featured, genre defying intelligent edgy song smith that producing the kind of mortally sad, black humoured alt. folk that reminiscent of Lambchop, Mountain Goats and on occasion Shellac.
George plays Guitar & is from East London, Rama drums & is from East Seoul. Russ plays Bass & is from Romford and 100% of Russell and the Wolf Choir.
They’ve gigged with Steve Malkmus, Shonen Knife, Moon Mama (Afrirampo), Julie Doiron, Thee More Shallows, Mick Turner (Dirty Three) and David Grubbs.
“like Smog on holiday in Shellac” DIS
"a gentleman blessed with an imposing baritone halfway between Bill Callahan and Absentee." The Line of Best Fit
Your New Friend

Named after an obscure Smog song, this new acoustic duo features ultra baritone voiced Simon Kobayashi from smallgang, with Sun Kil Moon-esque guitar workouts from Alex Carter (Armchair Songs). They play incredibly pretty songs with a rare level of skill and complexity.
