“It’s becoming like a ghost town”...
Being in unsettled economic times gives us the right to party ...one would have thought? No? Well, seems not everyone would agree especially when a handful of worthwhile London bar /club venue’s are disappearing at an alarming rate having a knock on effect to the weekend’s frivolities especially Friday’s. What a prospect to imagine the masses wandering the streets aimlessly looking for their next playground is alarming to say the least if not depressing and grey.... “Is it a bird, is it a plane.”
KUKU is about to fly in, lay it’s nest eggs and bring back the mayhem to Friday evenings...the bastard chick of Natalie Coleman (Mooch /Redlight) and Terry Hart (Redlight /Nude/Drama) shall descend upon the refurbished On The Rocks (now spread over 2 floors including private garden /patio and larger dance-floor but still has the underground, feel) delivering the best in nu wave disco, deep house, tech house percussive grooves with a smattering of intelligent techno all delivered by some of the most influential Djs from across London and beyond.
TIM PARIS [It's a Fine Line/Kill the DJ]
After building up a dj reputation in ¨parisian underground circles, doing parties with Jef K, Chloé, Alexkid and Ivan Smagghe, Tim Paris teamed up with Jef K to help him develop the now infamous Crack & Speed label.
Working the dancefloor but also developing his skills in the studio, Tim Paris had his first breakthrough with the remix of a rock tune called “Future Now” that had been picked up by Ralph Lawson’s 2020 Vision label and become one of the biggest underground tunes of 2004. From there Tim Paris didn’t stop but continued to release quality tracks and remixes.
Now based in London, Tim Paris started in 2005 his own label, again with Jef K, ‘Marketing Music’ and is considered by both DJs and press as one to watch in a (very) near future.
LUKE DONINGTON [Genius/Foundation/Siren Retreat/Catpeople]
LUKE DONINGTON, Mr GENIUS, is for those in the know THE DJ to watch, having already been a successful spinner in the 90's under the alias COOL HANDS LUKE with residences in some seminal club such as The Queen (Paris), Limelight, Billion Dollar Babes to name a few. 2009 has seen him bounce back into the djing fold playing alongside everyone from SPENCER PARKER, PIER BUCCI to GILES SMITH & JAMES PRIESTLEY and is a jock who happily juggles his passion for deep techno, booming underground house and often surprising yet always accessible dancefloor action. 2010 looks set to be an even better year for this man about town!

NATALIE COLEMAN [MOOCH/Resident]
Over the past year or so Nat’s name has been on the flyer of almost every London party worth its salt. Influenced by heavyweights such as Luciano, Queen Maxine and Loco Dice her unique style of driving minimal house, blended with playful techno has seen her rock packed out floors alongside the likes of Booka Shade, Martin Landsky, Jerome Sydenham, Dinky, Mr C, Clive Henry, Tim Sheridan, Smokin' Jo, Dan Berkson & James What, tINI and Arnaud Le Texier. Nat’s residency at Terry Hart’s Redlight Afterhours has given her a platform on which to build a reputation for consistently delivering the goods. Adding to this with a slot at Booka Shade's Album Launch, Jaded and regular appearances for Genius, HouseFM and other London underground parties, she has cemented her place as one of London’s rapidly rising stars.
