Jamm, 261 Brixton Road, SW9 6LH, 7.30pm, £5 admission
A pre-Indietracks spectacular to help raise money for Antarctica Takes It!,
who are travelling from Santa Cruz to play Indietracks this year. Five bands
for a fiver!
Tender Trap
Legendary indiepop outfit, fronted by Amelia Fletcher of Talulah
Gosh/Heavenly fame. The now five strong Tender Trap - Rob Pursey and DJ
Downfall being joined by Katrina Dixon on stand up drums and Elizabeth
Darling (of Allo Darlin') on guitar - sound brimful with energy, ideas and
that unquenchable pop spirit. Their fantastic new album, "Dansette
Dansette", is out on July 12 on Fortuna Pop.

Shrag
Brighton’s noise pranksters have become firm HDIF favourites since playing
one of the first HDIF Presents shows at Jamm in 2008. Expect jagged post
punk, ragged electro pop and a bundle of ramshackle, runaway energy,
alongside nods to everyone from Le Tigre to Penetration. Their second album
is out later this year on WIAIWYA.

Betty And The Werewolves
The brilliant Betty And The Werewolves play classic, head-over-heels
indiepop in the vein of Heavenly and Talulah Gosh. Their last single, "David
Cassidy", was one of the runaway highlights of the recent Rough Trade
Indiepop 09 compilation, and their debut album, "Teatime Favourites", is out
on July 5 on Damaged Goods.

Antarctica Takes It!
At last! We're overjoyed to be finally putting on a show by Antarctica Takes
It! from Santa Cruz. Led by multi-instrumentalist Dylan McKeever, ATI! play
indie folk and upbeat pop in the vein of Belle & Sebastian, The
Decemberists, Sufjan Stevens and Aislers Set. Their second album,
"Constellations", is out on HDIF on Aug 2.

Pocketbooks
It's no secret that Pocketbooks help out with running Indietracks, and
seeing as they're not playing the festival this year, we thought it would be
nice to open our Indietracks warm up show with the band that's making it all
happen. They'll be playing at least four new songs alongside some old
favourites. Their debut album, "Flight Paths", is out now on HDIF
