Sat June 19 - Bob Stanley DJs at HDIF at The Phoenix
We're very pleased to welcome back Bob Stanley of Saint Etienne as our guest DJ at HDIF this Saturday. He'll be on from 10.30pm-midnight at the Phoenix in central London. Bob's DJ-ed for us twice before and turned in superb sets both times, so we're really looking forward to having him back.
Indie song of the week: "Poor Old Soul (Part 2)" by Orange Juice. To celebrate the fact that the Orange Juice albums are finally being rereleased on CD (in September by Domino, they're putting out a 7 CD box set, who-hoo!).
Soul song of the week: "Putting The Best On The Outside" by Jean Wells. Storming rock'n'soul dancer!
Any requests? What would you like to hear on the night?
Hope to see you on Saturday!
