SERENA MANEESH + DARKER MY LOVE + ST DELUXE
The mighty Serena Maneesh return to Sonic Cathedral for a very special show at The Boston Music Room in north London. Earlier this year the Norwegian noiseniks released their second album 'SM2: Abyss In B Minor' and it's a masterpiece, mixing the driving rhythms and abrasiveness of ‘Xtrmntr’-era Primal Scream with the otherworldly beauty of ‘Loveless’. We're so pleased to have them back after their storming set at The Lexington back in March; this time we'll make sure they play for longer and the heating isn't turned up to melting point!
Co-headlining are the ever wonderful Darker My Love, returning for their 453rd show at Sonic Cathedral. We've always loved them and we love them even more now they've contributed to our Roky Erickson/13th Floor Elevators tribute album. They've also just finished work on their own third album ‘Alive As You Are’ and are in the UK as support to Band Of Horses. This is their only headline show. Don't miss it.
First on are a band we nearly put on ages ago at a show that got pulled for reasons too tedious to explain. But, finally, St Deluxe are going to make it down from Scotland to grace the Cathedral with their presence and we can't wait!
Plus DJs and fancy lights and stuff.
