Live music promoters wanted for two Camden venues
Two Camden venues are looking for new proactive promoters who are clued-up, reliable and able to work with us to help us move things forward thanks to those wonderful line-ups you're going to put together.
The Camden Head in the middle of Camden High Street has an 80-capacity venue upstairs, which can house full bands but due to the small size it is especially ideal for stripped-down or fully acoustic sets. Dates are available from September including Thursdays and Fridays.
The Monarch on Chalk Farm Road has a live music capacity of 250 and has hosted gigs by The Temper Trap, Courtney Love, Paul Heaton, Pete & Carl Libertine, Violent Soho, Marina And The Diamonds, Goldheart Assembly and many others as well as being the home of the incredible Ultimate Power club night for two years before they outgrew us and moved on up to the Scala...
Both venues have in-house PA systems, lighting and staging. Full tech specs available on request.
Unlike many other venues, we're not going to sting you with a hire charge to cover PA, lights, PRS etc - we just want the cost of our sound engineer covered.
While obviously we expect the promoters to actively 'promote', we help publicise your event through our in-house promotions team, adding listings to sites such as Time Out, last.fm, Spoonfed, Songkick, Qype, View London as well as submitting listings to the printed press, and listing it on our website, Facebook pages, Twitter and blog.
