GANGLIANS
Californians Ganglians sound like Pet Sounds recorded in a freaked out forest next to a swamp, or if Fleet Foxes went feral on a tropical island in some kind of Lord of the Flies scenario. That is, except when they’re on a totally liberated garage rock tip. Overall, we’re looking at some positive, fuzzed-out, and yet surprisingly focussed pop music, that (harmonically) oscillates between delicate and howling, usually within the space of one song. They’ve put some sweet records out on the hot-n-hip Woodsist Records and the equally so Captured Tracks.

LA LA VASQUEZ
3 Parts girl, 2 Parts beer, 1 Part Cider, all ruling. Fuzzy pop jams with a Messthetics vibe on Captured Tracks
