KOMAKINO
They are the band for 2006. Even Johnny Borrell agrees as do the folks at the NME what with calling them “brit-rocks best new band”. This summer their pop laced with spaceship fuel had crowds dancing across the land including blistering performances with Cooper Temple Clause and at Reading/Leeds and Wireless. Their debut single ‘Say Something’ on Drowned in Sound Recordings came sealed air-tight in meat wrapping, complete with Polaroid’s individually taken by the band, sold out in 48hours and copies are going on eBay for as much as forty quid!

REDJETSON
Drowned in Sound Recordings stargazers debut album ‘New General Catalogue’ slid out earlier this year. Things are currently hotting up with two nights supporting Bloc Party at Brixton Academy, a tour with Pure Reason Revolution and their first full single ‘This, Every Day, For The Rest of Your Life’ out on October 31st 2005, featuring remixes from Hope of the States’ Ant Theaker and a video directed by Paul Gore whose made amongst other things Snow Patrol ‘Run’.
Here are the lovely things people have said about Redjetson:
“Redjetson are one of my favourite bands at the moment. Dramatic, intense and exciting…” - Kele Okereke, BLOC PARTY
“…Redjetson are a massive force to be reckoned with - theirs is a sound built on searing guitars, soaring vocals and cathartic rhythms, all played with ear shattering, heart breaking volume and pathos…this is a masterpiece of invention and interest.” - NME
“Breathtakingly beautiful…find out why loud is the new loud. Brilliant.” - THE FLY

EMMY THE GREAT
Is already a legend in her own right. She writes sweet'n'wee-soured folk ditties with hints of Adam Green and the shambles of Cat Power. She's a very special and very sweet luminary in waiting who will charm you to the floor, only to flutter her eyelids and restore your faith in all that is beautiful.

LES INCOMPETENTS
Imagine a party band that lurks somewhere between Art Brut, Beefheart and Blood Brothers. Add to that a live show featuring umbrellas, cowbells, feathers and antlers, and you have the most fun band in London!
Their double-A debut single 'Reunion' / 'Much Too Much', wrapped in string'n'brown paper, on White Heat Records, sold out pretty much instantly, and picked up fresh meat plays on Zane Lowe's Radio 1 show and their video was all over Mtv2's 120 Minutes. They've tipped by many as one of the bands of 2006. Come catch their ramshackle riot show!
"Les Incompétents jump around as though they're auditioning for a circus act. They deserve an A+ for energy... give them a variety show!" - NME<br>
"Live music has never been so fun, theatrical, and good-looking. Les Incompétents are the future." - Artrocker
+ FIELD MUSIC + THE WHIP + FEAR OF MUSIC + THE AUTOMATIC + NEPHEW + FOLDED REMEDIEZ + ACTION PLAN + THE MADELINES + GUESTS
