Now you form a band number 4, 4 great bands for your pleasure
Spectrals - http://www.myspace.com/spectralspectral
Here is a review from drowned in sound "... the band get on with what has made the likes of Pitchfork, Parlophone and Blank Dogs' Mike Sniper (amongst others) sit up and take notice....Jones' doo-wop and reverb inspired love songs offer a perverse level of satisfaction for a balmy Friday evening.... the progress the band has made in less than a year is simply staggering, and with a glut of new songs in the bag ready to record any day now, 2010 looks likely to be a heck of a year.
Fair Ohs - http://www.myspace.com/theemightypharoahs
On the same label as Nottingham's Human hair - Loud and quiet rated the track "Summer lake" as one of the best tracks of 2009. I like how their myspace describes them - "like Paul Simon but...you know....punk".
Nephu Huzzband - http://www.myspace.com/nephuhuzzband
The reviews.....
"Nephu Huzzband are pushing the boundaries of punk"- Artrocker
"A frantic, powerful call to arms for anyone who likes their music raw and driven by the beast"- Sandman
"Nottingham's most recent local boys doing good. Expect to hear throbbing guitars, stadium-sized choruses and a sound so anthemic the likes of Mark Burgess and Carlos Dengler would be proud." - Drowned in Sound
Cold Pumas - http://www.myspace.com/coldpumas
Even more lofi rock from the South coast in the form of Cold pumas, massive long sections swirl around. I suspect this might be quite loud and a little psyche.
