Sat 16th Jan - Bonnie & Clyde DJ at HDIF in central London
We're very pleased to announce that our guest DJs at this Saturday's HDIF in central London are Bonnie & Clyde from Barcelona. They turned in a storming set when they were our guests back in 2007, and were superb at last year's Indietracks by all accounts (I was DJ-ing in the marquee at the same, so I missed them), so I can't wait to see what they've got lined up for us this year.
Indie song of the week: "Hey Boy" by the Magic Kids. Impossibly good indie/girl group crossover single from Memphis. Here it is on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4obA2YDc69o
Sixties song of the week: "Keep The Customer Satisfied" by Simon And Garfunkel. "Gee but it's great to be back home..." After a month away from doing HDIF, I can't wait to get back to it. I've been scouring charity shops and going back through old albums, and I've got a ton of gems ready for Saturday night. Including this, which will be the first song of my post midnight set. Just in case you don't know it, here's the song on You Tube: http://tinyurl.com/y977lh8
Hope to see you on Saturday!
