We are please to welcome back to the UK our good friend Dan Friel from one of our favourite bands Parts & Labor. This will be his only northern date on a three date tour of the UK so make sure you don't miss it!!!

"Dan Friel is a DIY enthusiast based in Brooklyn, NY who constructs towering noise anthems out of lo-fi electronics. Simple ingredients are used to create a wholly unique electronic landscape marked with euphoric melodies, harsh textures, complex arrangements and huge distorted beats.
Friel has been touring and recording under his own name and with his band Parts & Labor almost non-stop since 2001. His work with both has garnered rave reviews from The New York Times, Rolling Stone, Wire, and Pitchfork.
Friel also co-runs the Parts & Labor-operated independent label Cardboard Records, which has released trailblazing American experimentalists such as Gowns, Pterodactyl, and Ecstatic Sunshine, as well as the acclaimed 57 band "Love and Circuits" compilation (w/ High Places, Fuck Buttons, Japanther, Lucky Dragons, Oneida, Matt & Kim, etc).
Friel's most recent solo recording, “Ghost Town”, was released by Important Records in May of 2008."
