Good Shoes were formed in 2005 in Morden, South London. All four members have been friends since childhood, with Tom and Rhys also being brothers. Steve and Rhys started writing songs in 2004, with Tom Later joining on drums and Joel Cox then joining on bass.

Their first album 'Think Before You Speak' was recorded in Sweden with Per Sunding and released in 2007. The band are currently working on the follow up album, due to be released next year.
