OXBOW (Debut Brighton, full band, show for the cult San Francisco based band. Though several members have played here before acoustically as Loves Holiday supporting Isis. Their frontman, the formidable, Eugene Robinson, ex-Whipping Boy, has been here with his spoken word show. But this time we get the full band! Best described as an avant-garde band with a very unique sound. Oxbow plays a blend of noise rock, avant-garde jazz, musique concrète, and blues, creating caustic soundscapes with overtones of paranoia, revulsion, exaltation. "Designed to be the last aural will and testament of failed humanity, Oxbow actually garnered listeners from among the ranks of the fucked." A band once seen never forgotten! Only 4 UK shows.
