Beatnik Filmstars
Veterans of 5 Peel Sessions, Americana Beatnik Filmstars have played live all over the place, with bands you will have never heard of, and others like The Flaming Lips, Blur, Hood, Guided By Voices, The Wedding Present, Lush, The Fall …etc, etc, etc that you will have. Ben Sommers
A songwriter from London. Born in Hammersmith in 1981. Lived all over since then. Written many songs in between. Currently recording an album called 'Avocado Chip' which will be released in 2009.

Australian who relocated to Berlin from Sydney in 2003 with her band MINIT. As Jasmina Maschina. (Staubgold) she melds the most simple and innocent chord progressions of time-honoured folk music with a noisenik’s attraction to repetition, drone and lofi nowaver slocore gold. MJ Hibbett and the Validators
In their ten years together MJ Hibbett & The Validators have performed live on Radio One, had a Record Of The Year in Rolling Stone, an Album Of The Day on 6Music, released one of the first ever viral videos, toured up and down the UK and even featured in an Edinburgh Fringe Festival show, all while maintaining complete independence from record labels. They're old school indie, belligerently optimistic, and will have a pint.

Monster Island
Pavement meets The Fall three piece from Lancashire who spark up a satircal and caustic yet pretty catchy off kilter dirge and some of the best lyrics you’ll hear this year. The band are currently getting a load of airplay on John Kennedy's XFM show and are soon to be featured in Dazed and Confused!!!!!
