The 405 returns to the Buffalo Bar for the third and final time. Well, maybe. This is our final trial night at the place so we're going turn into the best night you'll ever go to.

We're proud to announce that we've managed to get the amazing Esben & The Witch and The Rifle Volunteer to play! We've also got one more amazing band to announce, so expect another name shortly.

A while back I was sent their EP '33' and I fell in love. I passed it to other members of The 405 and they loved it. Since our interview with the band they've gone from strength to strength. They supported Deerhunter, played a DIS sponsored gig ("Most astonishing of all about this band, though, is that they still belong exclusively to a few of us who are fortunate enough to be in the know") and are set to play the End of Road Festival.

The Lost Cavalry (http://www.myspace.com/thelostcavalry)

The Lost Cavalry was formed in early 2009 by Mark (Fanfarlo) when he joined forces with Oliver (Xup), Dave (The Injection) and Nick (Amber, Meissner). Mark sings about tightropes, elephants and lost islands, set to folk-noise, marching-band, electric-circus music... with concertina.

They're bloody brilliant!

So that's the music taken care of. Now the art.

Last time around we introduced an art raffle and it was so successful that we're going do it again. Basically we invited a couple of artists to come down to create some art during the night (even when the bands were playing). After the final band we jumped on stage, picked out a few raffle tickets and those lucky people won the art. The best thing is that your raffle ticket is included in your actual ticket. How great is that?
