BACKGROUND: YORKSHIRE AT SXSW 2009

The background to the SXSW briefing event is a sharp upturn in interest for Yorkshire Music at SXSW 2009.

Yorkshire even had its own compilation cd and dedicated showcase gig at the British Music Embassy venue c/o Timeless Music Project (music yorkshire). Homegrown acts Wild Beasts, Sky Larkin, Talk To Angels, Rolo Tomassi and Paul Marshall played to packed music industry crowds
