Neon Highwire

Initially the group created nihilistic deeply distorted-bass driven house in order to cleanse their palettes from previous Bristol-based projects Antistar and Antiba. The results of these early jams was an uncompromising sound falling somewhere between Death From Above 1979 and 65DaysOfStatic that evolved as the band became familiar with the setup, each other and themselves. Over time the jams were ruthlessly edited to reveal the deeper melodies within and the natural progression into individual tracks.
Neon Highwire offer up everything from precise, lean pop reminiscent of Devo, to sweltering builds that speak as much of towering electronic influences such as Daft Punk or Justice as they do the post punk textures and aggression of Sonic Youth or Mogwai.
The band's work to date culminates with the impending release of their début six track EP - Luminescence. It features the single Under Moonlight, as played on BBC 6Music.

The Boy. The Girl. And All The World.

the boy.the girl.and all the world. are four twenty somethings.
they live together…
whilst the pots and pans remain unclean and the tv gathers dust, they write songs to capture the imagination of the young and the old. musically understated and lyrically honest their assumption of youth remains all together positive, but also at times bittersweet. taking influence from friends, everyday goings on and there very own childishness, they hope for nothing more than you to join them on their path to somewhere fun, creative, but most importantly where everyone is involved.
they hope to see you soon x
