Late last year CHOPS bumped into Beyonce when we were hanging out pool side at our favourite holiday resort. We cranked out a few tunes, sipped a few cocktails, played a bit of water polo, did a few somersaults off the diving boards, and before we knew it, she wanted to collaborate with us. Sadly, her management made sure this meeting that would have been of huge musical significance never took place, and our chance encounter remains a heat-hazed summer memory. And then one day, when we were feeling a bit frisky, we finally wrote the song that she would have soothed with her dulcet tones, and now her management must surely be kicking themselves, the fools!
