When most journalists write about Lovvers they seem to become preoccupied with the extra v or 'lo-fi' recordings which totally does disservice to the band. Maybe they should be writing about how Lovvers are one of the best bands in the entire country just now and have just released one of the LPs of 2009 'OCD GO GO GO GIRLS'. To miss out on this show is to miss out on some of the tightest, most memorable punk-rock I've heard in some time which channels The Barracudas, The Wipers, Clorox Girls and Chain Gang. Rad.

Male Bonding signed to Sub Pop. Sub Pop released 'Bleach' by Nirvana, currently house No Age and were at the forefront of the grunge movement. Like, its a big deal. I kind of think Male Bonding are a big deal. Racuous and joyful scuzzy pop-noise for fans of Baby Gecko, Nirvana, No Age and the summer.
