THE PAINS OF BEING PURE AT HEART
The Pains of Being Pure at Heart are a New York four-piece who play genius noisy pop songs with boy/girl vocals, blissful melodies, fuzz guitar and blistering drums. Despite only having been together for just over a year The Pains of Being Pure at Heart are - along with their fellow Brooklyn scenesters The Vivian Girls and Crystal Stilts - one of the buzz American bands of the moment. Indeed, their self-titled debut album on Fortuna POP! was named by Pitchfork as one of the five most anticipated releases of the year. Thrilling and insouciantly cool, they might just be the most exciting indiepop band on the planet right now.
"Pure indie-pop to hold close to your heart." - NME

HATCHAM SOCIAL
Hatcham Social are an indiepop band who first met and formed in New Cross, London, and who have released a string of singles on indie labels since 2006. They play choppy, post-punk inspired guitar pop reminiscent of early Postcard Record's acts such as Orange Juice, and Echo And The Bunnymen's more upbeat moments. Their Tim Burgess (The Charlatans) produced debut record ‘You Dig The Tunnel, I’ll Hide The Soil’ was released in March 2009 in the UK.

VERONICA FALLS
Originally known as Draculas, this is the latest band from the people responsible for Sexy Kids and The Royal We. Expect taut, thrilling indie pop that sounds like Young Marble Giants tussling with The Delgados.
