Friday July 3rd - Helen and Steph of Shrag DJ at HDIF in Brixton
We're very pleased to announce that our guest DJs at HDIF in Brixton this Friday are Helen and Steph from Shrag. Steph is one of the resident DJs at Brighton's notorious Born Bad club night, so we should be in for a good night! If you're going to see Blur in Hyde Park on Friday, then it's super easy to get to Brixton afterwards - just straight down the Victoria line, from Green Park to Brixton. A ten minute tube ride at the most. And you never know, I may even be tempted to play a Blur song on the night. I'm kind of thinking "Popscene" at the moment, but we'll see.
Indie song of the week: "I'll Have To Dance With Cassie" by God Help The Girl. I played this at the last HDIF and it sounded wonderful, so I'll definitely be giving it a spin again.
Sixties song of the week: "In The Morning Light" by The Left Banke. The sound of the summer!.
Finally, what would you like to hear on Friday? Requests please!
Hope to see you on Friday,
Ian x
