Manchester label - Front and Follow aims to bring new and exciting artists to the fore, working across the UK and spanning across genres to unearth music that deserves to be heard. Released in hand-crafted, limited edition packaging our records are not restricted by musical boundaries and include scorching electronica, heart felt folk as well as classically based music.

On Elite Barbarian

Tearing up stages across London and now the UK, Elite Barbarian uses a vast array of sonic weapons to create a range of ambient abstracts and pounding rhythms. Elite Barbarian is solo work of Ben Page, member of Rothko and Rocket Number 9. Chest thumping, dark and dangerous electronica.

Yonokiero

As the two veterans behind Hirameka Hi-Fi (Gringo Records), Tom and Chris made a name for themselves on Radio 1 and in the NME. Yonokiero is their return, with something a little more refined but with that energy and magical song-writing still at the core. Their debut album on F&F, Blue Apples, is a folk-driven collection of wonderful, melodic tunes.

On Andy Nice:

Andy Nice has played with everyone from Sade to Cradle of Filth to Luke Haines’ Baadar Meinhof, and has performed and recorded around the globe. He is the cellist with string/dance music aficionados Instrumental, and is now wanting to push the boundaries of the cello through his solo work which uses layers of multiple cello parts and personalities to create a beguiling sound. Andy Nice can currently be heard playing Cello and touring with The Tindersticks.

On Sone Institute:

Sone Institute is the weird and wonderful world of electronic artist Roman Bezdyk. Spinning together found sounds, classroom percussion and a host of stringed instruments, Sone Institute is a surreal and fantastical world of pure sonic imagination.
