Wolf Am I for North West unsigned compilation launch gig
Liverpool-based LIPA Records has previously released compilations curated by Fran Healy of Travis and Robin Gibb of the Bee Gees. This year the label goes it alone with an eclectic collection of unsigned talent based in England's North West, but originating from as far afield as Norway, the USA, Ireland and Japan, covering genres from rock and pop to folk and country. The label's first release featured an early demo from the then little-known band The Wombats, so who will you discover this time round? Have a listen and let us know your faves! It'd be great to know what you think :-)

And if you're Liverpool based, come down to the “Shuffle.Play.Repeat” launch party at Static Gallery this Wednesday (20th May) as part of the Liverpool SoundCity festival featuring artists from the release plus special guest headliner Wolf Am I (former Kill The Arcade).
